First on basis of marks:
Your percentile = (your obtained marks x 100)/ highest mark obtained in the exam.
Eg if you score 295 and highest score is 500 then your percentile is 59.
Second on basis of rank:
Suppose 1000 students has appeared for the exam and 700 have their score below yours, then your percentile is 70.
