  • To begin, you must total the marks obtained in all 5 subjects that you have selected.
  • Next, you need to divide the sum of these marks by 500.
  • Finally, you are required to multiply the outcome by 100 in order to obtain the percentage.
  1. For example- if you have scored= 80+50+70+80+50=330
  2. Now divide 330 with 500 (Total Marks)=330/500=0.66
  3. Multiply it with 100=0.66*100= 66%

Central Board of Secondary Education has released the CBSE result 2021 Class 12 for arts, commerce and science streams on July 30, 2021 at 2 PM.
CBSE Class 12th result is declared this year without exams as the board has cancelled class 12th exams. Schools have moderated the marks for CBSE 12th result 2021. The result has been declared on the basis of marks sent by affiliated schools.

Students can check the result at the official website cbseresults.nic.in. Follow the steps given below to check the result:

  • Visit the official website, cbseresults.nic.in 2021 Class 12.

  • Click on the ‘CBSE Class 12 result 2021’ link.

  • Enter student’s roll number and other details.

  • Click on the ‘Submit’ button.

  • CBSE 12th result 2021 will be displayed on the screen.

  • Take a printout or screenshot of the same for future reference.

Students can use this method to  convert CGPS into percentage:

Calculation of overall percentage = CGPA X 9.5

  • For example, if your CGPA is 8.2 in CBSE class 12 result 2021, then the overall percentage is 8.2*9.5 = 77.9%

To calculate the percentage of CBSE 12th result , follow the steps-

Add scores of 5 main subjects divided by 500 * 100

Candidates having addition subjects

Add marks of 6 subjects divided by 600 * 100

Do we add those subjects also which we are failed in? Like I failed in economics, so should I add this to calculate my percentage!

First calculate total marks of your intermediate results,then divide it by total marks i.e 500,then multiply by 100,you will get your percenatge.For example,if your marks is 450,then your percentage will be as follows:(450/500)*100=90%.
