How to calculate the jipmer percentage
Hello Nandini,
The JIPMER percentile is calculated by taking the product of your mark*100 and dividing it by the highest mark scored by a student in the exam(Top ranker).
If your percentile is 70%,then it means that your rank is in top of the 70% of total candidates who wrote the exam.It may vary because we cannot predict the highest mark scored overall by a student.
Hope this helps.
All the best!!!
