Murari, For the first time since it establishment, AIIMS will conduct its admission based on NEET score through All India Counselling. Once NEET results have been announced, the DGHS will release the merit list on behalf of MCC and open the registration and counselling process. Now there are 2 possible ways of admission here. Either AIIMS will conduct admission to its 1500 seats on the basis of its individual merit list like AFMC or i will follow the normal All India Counselling process. Eitherwise, AIIMS has higher cut off percentiles. If you look at its cut off percentiles, they are nothing less than 93 for reserved Categories and 98 for General Category. Loosely translated to Marks keeping in mind that AIIMS conducts its exam for 200 marks while NEET conducts its exam for 720 marks, you will need nothing less than 650 if you belong to General Category. And it is 675 if you belong to Reserved Categories. This is based on previous years cut off percentiles. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. Going by rank might be little confusing and so we are helping you with the marks. Because there are approximately 1500 MBBS seats available for admission and all these follow the constitutional reservations i.e. OBC, EWS, SC,ST. And you haven't mentioned your Category and so it is tad difficult to predict a rank. Still we would say your rank should be below 3000 for a possible seat in AIIMS.
