Hello Nivetha
NEET UG exams consist of questions from syllabus of Class 11th and Class 12th. Syllabus of the exam is vast and it is practically not possible to complete the whole syllabus in detail within 45 days. However, working smartly can help you to score a good rank in the exam and get seat in any decent medical college.
You should cover the topics which carry more weightage. It has been analysed that out of 7060 concepts/definitions in physics, chemistry and biology in NEET, only 16% concepts/definitions were asked till 2017 paper and 73% paper of NEET UG 2018 was based on these 16% concepts/definitions.
You should work on these concepts only to score good marks in the exam. You should solve previous years question papers and mock tests. It will help you to know about the exam pattern and type of question asked in the exam.
You should enroll for the NEET Rank Booster for your preparation-
Good Luck!

Hi
You can still improve the score with a systematic study plan. You can join online course for NEET preparation which has a proper study plan, learning tools, different test papers and model exams. You should take all subjects with equal weightage and seriously. There will be 45 questions each from physics, chemistry, botany and zoology and you have to answer with in 180 minutes (3 hrs). So on an average you may get 1 minute per question. Mantra here is to pick easy questions at a glance and answer quickly without wasting precious seconds. For this you need to do as many practice and take model exams to increase speed and accuracy. The saved time can be utlised for answering medium and difficult questions.
All the best!
In order to score a good marks in the NEET 2019 examination, you should read NCERT books of Physics, Chemistry & Biology of class 11th & 12th at least 2 or 3 times for basics, your basics should be very clear upto class 12th. After that HC Verma for Physics (part -1&2), Biology by Trueman (volume-1&2) and Pradeep Guide on Biology, OP Tendon for Physical & Inorganic Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry of "Arihant Publication" for detail or extra knowledge. Your study materials provided in the coaching could also be helpful. You can also read more books whose names are given in the link given below

You should also try to solve the previous years question papers, this helps too much and you should also give the mock test to rectify yourself and build your confidence level.
For preparation of exam, the most important thing is your confidence after that you should know the whole syllabus and make your plan properly for learning new chapters, solving the numericals and revision. All three things should be the part of your preparation strategy in daily routine.
The main thing is that you have to build your concentration level, then only you can stay focused on your goal. I would like to say that please limit the study time between 10 to 12 hours and please increase your concentration and speed of reading, understanding and solving the problems then you will not face any kind of difficulty.

all this is to wash and cannot be covered unless you have basic concepts on them but if you have made notes I would advise you to go through them especially if they were made conceptually in the form of points, tables from a flow diagrams and graphical representations to help you with your attention of acts as well as application of concept switches quintessential in doing well in this final 40 days when you need to consolidate and not delicate more than two to three hours to each subject starting other with physics of biology in the morning and ending the day with chemistry with an hour gap between each of the three subjects not overstressing yourself and giving yourself adequate sleep and maintaining a healthy lifestyle
All the best
Hardly months are left for the entrance exam and all you need to do is study in a smart way- determine yourself and give your Bestttt possible.!
The following one month preparation strategy must be kept in mind which will help you to clear NEET exam and give your dreams the wings.!
For the 1st week- go for Physics
Revise the most important chapters and cover the topics.
- Electronic devices
- Kinematics
- Heat and Thermodynamics
- Electrostatics
- Laws of motion
- Oscillations and Waves
- Magnetism
Make the formulae chart for the important chapters and revise every now and then- solve MCQs topicwise.
Refer book HC Verma-for revising basics + easy and quick understanding of the important topics. Try to practice maximum number of questions. This will give you enough idea of the question-level-pattern + your concepts will become more strong.! Hope you're getting my point.!
For 2nd week- go for Chemistry
Chemistry is the second most scoring subject after Biology. Refer NCERT first and then any reference for question practice.
Most important chapters are as follows:
- Aldehydes and ketones and C.Acids
- Biomolecules
- Chemical Kinetics
- Equilibrium
- Chemical Bonding and Molecular structure
-
Organic Chemistry- basic rules and techniques
- P-block elements
- Thermodynamics
Do focus maximum on the organic chemistry chapters as every year 12-15 Questions are asked. Refer NCERT due basic rules and nomenclature understanding. Make notes of important topics so that you can revise it easily anytime later.
3rd week- Biology
The most scoring subject.! NCERT is highly important to be referred. 90% questions are asked from NCERT itself. And so read it line to line carefully- and making keyword type notes for brief summary of important chapters.
- Diversity in the living world
- Genetics and evolution
-
Human Physiology
- Biotechnology and it's applications
- Reproduction
- Structural organization in plants and animals
- Ecology
- Biology and Human welfare
- Cell structure and functions
Read NCERT minimum 2-3 times before the exam and be thorough with it. You can easily score 320+ if you study this way in biology. Go through the examples, classifications, definitions, statistics, diagrams and their labellings, biological cycles, tabular details, reactions-mechanisms, and most importantly- the summary part given at the end of every chapter.
Week-4
Important chapters/topics revision
Go through the previous years solved Question papers
Plan your time very well. Forget everything except studies and focus on your goal. Schedule all your breaks, sleep cycle, study time within the boundaries of your timetable. Make sure you stick to it. Cover the important topics first. Do not study anything new now.
Commit to challenge the aim and to crack it.!
Keep high target and go for it.!!
Hope this helps.!
All the Bestt.!
Thanks for contacting Careers360.
Since 40 days is not a great amount of time to prepare for an All India Examination, you really need to buckle up. You need to be concentrated towards your study for these 40 days. You must stop using any social media (if you're ), forget about friends, etc. In short you need to cut off yourself socially for quite a while .
Focus on NEET 2019
Your goal is to crack NEET think of it day & night. Try to create a better environment for your study. Move away from anything that causes distraction. Coaching must be over by now, now its time for your self-study. Confine yourself to your room & study table. If you have a bad sleeping habit then stop sleeping for more than 6-7 hours, that’s sufficient. Its always a good & healthy habit to sleep at night & be awake in the day. Most of you like me, are awake at night & sleep in the day that’s really a bad habit if you can correct it then do it otherwise do as usual coz changing pattern of your sleep right now can hamper your study, so do it after exams are over.
Duration of study:
If you have been a regular guy then you must be relaxed & continue your study as usual. For others, you need to have atleast 10 hours of divided study not continuous. Only a month of effort is required, push it hard otherwise another year will be required & you will fall short of a year that is going to pain you in the future. So plan this 10 hours of study carefully & execute it fully, not just plan it. Don’t study for more than 2-3hours continuously have a break & refreshment the way you like and again come back to your study.
How & what to study:
You have your textbook, coaching notes & self made notes. For biology keep in touch with NCERT textbook. Revise one chapter from NCERT Biology daily. Study the important points that you have noted or the one you usually forget. For physics & chemistry try to clear your concept & keep your basics clear. Use coaching or self made notes or if you have any revision material.
Keep memorising important formula & relations in physics & chemistry. Plan your 30 days schedule in such a way that you cover atleast one chapter from all three subjects daily. These should not exceed more than 4-5 hours daily. Take refreshment in between so that your mind is fresh when switching to next subject.
Test yourself- “Key to Success”
You must have solved previous year papers, if not then solve atleast past 5 years paper that will give a good idea about questions asked in exam. Only solving past year questions won’t help you as these questions are less likely to be repeated. If you have joined some good coaching institute then they must be taking test regularly. If not then you need to solve mock test regularly.
Good luck. You will do well.
Hello,
I would like to tell you that there is no substitute for hard work.
There is no timetable which will guarantee you success and full marks.
Some people need to study for 16 hours to understand while some just need 3-4 hours.
So the question should be asked to yourself.
It's high time now so you should start picking up the high weightage topics and start revising the previous year papers.
try to solve papers each week and analyze your mistakes.
I would suggest you visit the careers360's link given below which has a detailed explanation of chapter wise weightage for NEET.
The link for the same is:https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-chapter-wise-weightage-and-important-topics
Hope this helps and all the best!
