First step in the preparation for NEET is to have a good grasp of Biology, Math and Physics taught in higher secondary. If you are a student of cbse it is usually easy to start with because NCERT text books provide a good foundation of the topics. Make sure to go through CBSE text books no matter what board you are studying in.

Study from other books that are published for NEET preparation. Make sure to solve loads and loads of numericals in physics (use HC Verma). And go through the previous year question papers.

First of all you must have a sorted routine for regular studies. Studying for six hours a day will be helpful in completing the syllabus in time. Now that you are in 1st year of pu , you should first go through the theory part well as to solve questions you need crystal clear concepts and concepts come from theory , and after finishing each chapter you should practice numericals and mcqs and keep revising your concepts whenever you feel like you are for getting some concepts , you can make a routine as well and try to give at least 8-10 hours or more to study , your routine should revolve around study, revise and practice . You should make a list of important definitions, important formulas, important derivations in chemistry and physics and important diagrams in biology etc. and you can brush them up weekly. You can make mind maps, flow charts for memory based topics while studying the chapters and these will help you a lot during your revision . You should practise numericals and mcqs , go through past 39 year chapterwise papers of neet aipmt book for each of Physics, Chemistry and Biology by arihant and once you are done with the syllabus of both class 11 and 12th i.e the complete neet syllabus go through mock test papers.
