Dear Aspirant ,

1. Commitment, Hard work and Determination really work. Meaning there by, revise the course by Practice manual (PM) at least 3 times before exam day. You will really remember my words when the same question from PM will appear in the exam.

2. Patience and regular touch with studies. Daily at least 2 hours of study during your articleship can help you to overcome the pressure of whole exam night study.

3. Never ever ignore CA Institute module, Practice Manual (PM) and RTP. Otherwise; there is no need to read this answer. It is my personal experience that, without taking a single coaching class in Finals, I have cleared both groups with 3 exemptions (but it took more attempts to clear the exams due to lack of strategy). About 60-70% question are from PM. And for ISCA and Information Technology, PM + RTP is deadly combination.

4. Avoid Frustration: Many a times people get frustrated that they are not passing the exam, where as other friend after passing the exams are enjoying their life and posting photos on Facebook. Dear friends, dont be frustrated. A day will come when you pass the exam and the friends who were ignoring you will be the first person who will congrats you and will be in regular contact with you. (Personal experience)

5. Be away from all the negative factors ex: few people will tell you the story about his relative/ friend that he/ she has given their whole 10 years but cannot pass the exam. I would rather say that, their relative/ friend were in 2 successive 5 year plan. STAY AWAY FROM THEM.

6. Always learn from your failure not the failure of your colleagues. Because you have to walk yours way and not theirs.

7. Make strategies and plans. Do not work on someones else strategy. May be they have made strategy as per theirs requirement, which would not work for you.

8. Test series really works. It will actually help you to solve the paper in exam like situation of 3 hours. Try to avoid this type of situation in exam by joining few test series before exam.

9. Avoid social media like Face book and Instagram, as it going to benefit Juckerberg and not you. Avoid GF/ BF, because in 99 % cases among them, one is going to suffer.

10. Studies vs. Articleship vs. social & Personal life: I would say that, articleship is necessary for your smooth carrier. But first of all you have to pass the exam to make your carrier. So give foremost priority to your study than articleship. Your boss will make pressure on you for work but you have to manage and escape to read one extra page.

11. If you thought of doing self study, dont reveal it to the boss. Rather say him that you have to join classes or pendrive classes. Take your time and study at home. In fact if boss asks you about your stay in the city, tell them that you are far away from the office location. (Again, its personal experience)

12. At least, be in regular touch with these subjects:

IPCC: Cost accounting and financial management, Auditing and assurance, Information Technology.

Finals: SFM, Advance Auditing, AMA, ISCA

VERY IMPORTANT: Try to secure at least one exemption in each group. This will help you in passing the group. AND presentation of answer which can impress paper checker is a must requirement.

13. Practice of making Notes for theory subjects. Especially, for Audit and ISCA. Learn and frequently revise all the technical words of these 2 subjects and use them in the exam. This will at least help u in fetching 5+ extra marks.

14. Prepare mnemonics and flow diagram/ mind map to remember the content easily.

Hope this information helps you ,

Thank you .
