Hello

Rahul Teja

Yeah I will provide the some of the tips to get more than 220 marks

Only Read the Relevant materials, Do not waste your Time

  • There are far too many books on JEE in the market. Students try to slove coaching packages from many institutions,Read the same topics from many different books so you should not do this mistake
  • So I will suggest you Follow the standard books, give the first preference to NCERT books and study the past year papers with decent question bank. If you are in a coaching institute, slove their material.
  • Focus on the quality, rather than the quantity. Even if you slove 10000 questions there will be a question that is new to you
  • Practice with a Timer :

  • In this view of point you can slove all the questions at home when you practice but can't slove them in the JEE mains exam
  • So if your not timing yourself  please practice in mock exam environment . Always use a timer during your problem solving sessions. This will help you build a comfort level with timed tests. You will learn to manage you time better
  • Take advantage of the test series :

  • If you are in coaching class, you probably already have this option. But If your doing self study enroll yourself in good test series . It helps you to judge your performance compare to others and also identify your weak and strong points
  • Please attempt them with the same sincerity you will show in the actual JEE mains exam please prepare before taking these tests. If you are not serious during the practice, the actual performance can't be good
  • Follow NCERT's thoroughly get their exemplar problem books :

  • JEE mains is organised by CBSE so the exam certainly is based on the company content provided in these books. NCERT's are really important you can find all types of problem  here . Single choice, multiple correct , match the following .
  • Use effective Revision Techniques:

  • Repetition is the key to longer retention. Keep revising your formulae and make a notes
  • In your first attempt mark the important sections and problems you weren't able to slove when you revise attempt these first please read the theory only if you need it make your own notes.
  • Study with a plan :

  • Have a monthly and weekly breakdown plan of the topics whichever you want to cover . Try to follow this schedule . Study ahead if you can . without planning, lot of time is wasted on short chapter's and the lengthy ones are rushed. This leaves gaps in preparation. We don't want that . Do we
  • Shoot for 280 or more marks :

  • Often times, students avoid guessing. If they are aiming for 200, they attempt questions worth 200 marks. The obvious results is that they end up getting fewer marks . So as my suggestion is considered Attempt atleast 70-80% of the paper. This is very important . Do intelligent guessing by eliminating options if you need to . Remember, if you want to score high, you need to attempt more.
  • Attempt the chemistry first :

  • You may use your own judgement here . Based on past trends, chemistry paper is the easiest and can be solved in about 40 minutes . You can use the saved time in the solving the physics and mathematics section. Solving more questions at the start of the examination will also boost your confidence
  • Relax and do not Rush

  • The coller your head is , the better you will perform. Often times we see a problem we have solved before , and quickly tick the answer . Only to find out we checked the wrong option . Even if you have seen the question before , avoid blind ticking.slove it till the point you are sure of your choice . Plan well and you will have enough time
  • Maintain a positive attitude while your preparing particular related concept it will enhance your preparation and helps you to crack the exam
  • Now I will provide the more important weightage JEE mains topics
  • More marks weightage for physics :

  • Modern Physics
  • Heat and thermodynamics
  • Optics
  • Current electricity
  • Electrostatics
  • Mangnetics
  • Unit, dimension and vector

  • Limits, continuity , differentiability
  • Integral calculus
  • Complex number and quadratic equations

  • Moreover first of all please focus on the NCERT books later on refer the above important reference books
  • Hope it will be helpful for you,

Hi Rahul Teja !

Well how much will you score completely depends on your dedication . Be honest to yourself . Solve previous year question papers . Don't try to learn any new chapter . Revise the chapters that you have studied already in a proper schedule . Continue your test series . This will help you a lot . H.C. Verma's Physics book is one of the best books for Physics . Solve the problems as well as examples of this book . For chemistry , NCERT is enough and for mathematics , go for R.D. Sharma Objective Book .

All The Best !
