Hey,

One thing you should keep in mind is Chemistry is the most scoring subject among the 3 subjects of PCM combination and undoubtedly it plays an important and leading role in any kind of competitive exams. So you should study and practise Chemistry in details with intense hardwork, extreme dedication and passion for securing extra-ordinary marks in JEE MAIN and Advanced.

Regarding this, you should follow the books of O.P. Tandon, Himanshu Pandey, Arihant, P.Bahadur, P.W.Atkins (specially for physical chemistry), MORRISON and BOYD (specially for organic chemistry), MS Chouhan (specially for reaction mechanism in Organic Chemistry), J.D.Lee (specially for inorganic chemistry) to achieve a clear perception about different unknown and interesting aspects of chemistry which are very much helpful especially for the toughest exams like JEE Advanced.

Hello,

Usually the Chemistry section of the JEE Mains paper remain comparatively easier than the other sections. This was also the case this year and in the past. So to score good marks in this section, you need to have a good knowledge of the basics of Chemistry- Physical, Inorganic, as well as the organic chemistry chapters.

Not just that, you need to practice mock questions in this regard, and subject yourself to difficult questions so that you don't quiver at the questions in the main paper.

To check the weightage in different chemistry chapters, click the link below: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-syllabus-weightage

Hope this helps you.
