How to get a government job as a doctor in hospital in WB after MBBS?
The MBBS course is generally of 5.5 years all over India.
During this 5.5 years duration, 4.5 years are spent on educational purposes of learning everything, whereas the additional 1 year belongs to the Internship period.
The internship is mandatory for every candidate during which you would be posted in your own hospital and made to learn about the clinical correlations. You would even be paid accordingly.
After the completion of internship you will be handed over your MBBS degree.
Now, you can either apply in a hospital to start your job or prepare for NEET PG accordingly in order to specialize in a branch.
A suggestion : An MBBS doctor has quite a less chance of being hired in a hospital as compared to a MD/MS doc.
Hope this helps.
Good Luck !
Hey !
After completing your degree of MBBS , you will have to do an internship of 6 months. In some cases , the internship can also be for one complete year. So , in this internship , you will be taught according to doctoral purposes and then you will be given a medical license. After getting that license , you can apply for government jobs in medical fied and you will be given job on the basis of your performance.
Hope it helps!
