For the Pharm D, wheather government or private, admission is done on the basis of entrance exams.Examinations can be conducted either by the central medical authorities, state or universities.Candidates who perform well in the exam, make to the merit lists then the selection/ counselling process is conducted on the basis of the merit lists.

To get admission into B.pharma course, students have to complete their 10+2 education &and then apply for national level or state level Pharmacy entrance exams. The national level entrance exam is Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT ). You can also apply for the state level exams such as TS EAMCET , AP EAMCET ,BCECE , WBJEE , etc as per the eligibility criteria of the exams.
Few Institutions offer direct admission into the Pharmacy programme without appearing in an entrance test on the basis of the 12th marks.
