how to get addmission in rajiv gandhi Institute of petroleum for mba
Candidates seeking admission to the two-year, full-time MBA programme offered at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT) are required to appear for the CAT / XAT/ CMAT / GMAT/ MAT followed by the Personal Interview. To get admission to the MBA programme, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria mentioned below:
Category A: Candidates with a valid score in any of the entrance examination:
- A minimum of 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ ST/ PwD category candidates) in Class 10 and Class 12
- A Bachelor’s degree from recognised university with a minimum of 60% marks or 6.0 CPI on 10 point scale (55% marks for SC/ ST/ PwD category candidates)
Category B: Candidates without a valid score in any of the entrance examination:
- A minimum of 65% marks (60% marks for SC/ ST/ PwD category candidates) in Class 10 and Class 12
- A Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university with a minimum of 65% marks or 6.5 CPI on 10 point scale (60% marks or 6.0 CPI for SC/ ST/ PwD category candidates)
The selection for admission to the MBA programme at RGIPT will be based on the merit with following components namely, percentile obtained in the entrance exam (for Category A candidates), academic performance, Personal Interview, and work experience. The institute will declare the merit list, and selected candidates will be required to pay the fees to secure the admission.
