Doon University, Dehradun, state university was established in 2009 and is located in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. The

university offers various UG, PG and Research level courses to the candidates.

At UG level,  Doon University  offers B.Des., B.Com (Hons), BA (Hons), M.Sc. Integrated, MA (Integrated) and MBA

(Integrated) programs. At PG level, the university offers M.Sc., MA, M.Tech, MBA, MCA and MCA (Lateral Entry)

programs. It also offers Ph.D. program in various specializations.

Minimum eligibility for UG courses is candidate must pass in 10+2 examination in relevant stream from recognized

board. For PG courses, candidate must pass in Graduate degree in relevant specialization from recognized

university. For Ph.D., candidates must have passed Master’s degree with minimum 55% marks or equivalent from

recognized university.

Selection to UG and PG courses is done on the basis of Entrance Test conducted by the university.

Doon University Application Process 2019

The university offers an online mode of application to the candidates. Application fees is to be paid through online

mode via debit card/credit card/net banking.

How to Apply

 Visit the official website of the university and go to Admissions section.

 Click on the link “Online Application for Admission 2019-19”.

 Register as a new candidate and then login with the username and password.

 Fill the form carefully and submit after carefully rechecking the details.

 Pay the application fees of INR 800 (INR 400 for SC/ST) through online mode.

 Applicants who are not able to apply online and visit the Admission Help Desk at the Reception in the

Administrative Block, Doon University with necessary documents and prescribed fees.

Documents required at the time of admission counseling:

 Proof of age certificate

 Transfer / Migration Certificate

 Character and Conduct Certificate

 Proof of passing the qualifying examination

 Two passport size photograph

 Attested copy of MAT score card (for MBA)

 Proof of entitlement for a particular reservation policy

 Domicile Certificate

 Permanent Address Certificate/ Aadhar Card

 Medical Fitness Certificate

 Hostel Admission Form, if required

 Anti Ragging Affidavit

Doon University Facilities

Library:

 The library is fully computerized having a collection of over a total of 40 print journals, 34 magazines,

and 30 e-journals are subscribed by the library.

 Also apart from this, the Library also provides access to more than 5000 e-journals through

INFLIBNET consortia.

 The Library subscribes to a total of 74 scholarly Journals and Magazines (40 Journals and 34

Magazines) covering a wide area of subjects.

Hostels: There are separate hostels for boys and girls on campus. Rooms are provided with single

accommodation with all basic amenities in them.

Auditorium: The University has a 200 capacity Senate Hall/Auditorium which can be utilized for various

symposiums, lectures, and events.

Extracurricular Activities: The University also initiates extra-curricular activities for enhancing the

overall personality of students. Some of the activities which are held throughout the year are:
