Admission procedure to get into Army institute of Technology Pune
Candidates who want to take admission in the B.E courses must appear for JEE (Main) conducted by CBSE.
After candidates have received JEE (Main) Roll number, they need to fill AIT online application form on the official website of AIT.
Admission will take place within 2 weeks after the results of JEE (Main) are announced.
Only those candidates who are the children of retired/serving army personnel are eligible for applying in AIT. Their parents must have completed a minimum of 10 years of service in the army.
Those seeking admission to B.E courses must have passed their 10+2 (or equivalent examination) with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects and one among Biology/Biotechnology/Chemistry/Technical Vocational subject as the optional subject. They must have obtained a minimum of 50% in all the subjects.
Candidates who want to take admission in the M.E program must have a Bachelor’s degree in B.E/B.Tech from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
Students seeking admission in M.E program must appear for GATE, conducted by IITs. (For Master's).
