Baruipur Government Polytechnic offers Diploma in Civil engineering, mechanical and electrical engineering. The basic eligibility criteria is that, the candidate should have passed 10th or High School Examination or its equivalent from an approved Board.

Admission is based on entrance exam conducted by WBSCTE - through Joint Entrance Examination in 1st year and VOCLET for lateral entry in 2nd year.
