The admissions to BPT are carried out based on following eligibility criteria:
Along with this candidates performance in a relevant institute-specific entrance test is assessed. Often subsequently, two additional rounds of Group Discussion and Personal Interview are held for assessment of the candidate’s general aptitude for the course.
For MPT,
Candidate must have done BPT from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate score of 50%. Additionally, they are needed to have completed a 1- year compulsory rotating internship or complete it before April 30 of the relevant academic year.

- Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent qualification, completed from a recognized university, in the Science stream, with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects.
- A minimum aggregate score of 50% or equivalent CGPA at the 10+2 level (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
