Hi Nikhil,

There are various colleges which offers this course. Some Colleges conduct an entrance examination for admission and some do it on the basis of the 12th marks, based on which a merit list is prepared. First of all you have to shortlist the colleges, you want to target for. Then research on their Admission process and have a note on their application release dates. Now on specific dates keep their requirements like scanned pictures, signatures and the amount ready before applying for the college. Some of the colleges I have mentioned below:-

  • National Dairy Research Institute ( NDRI) Karnal
  • Indian Agricultural Research Institute, Delhi.
  • Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University, Hyderabad.
  • Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar.
  • University of Agriculture Sciences, Bangalore.
  • Tamilnadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore.
  • GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Uttarakhand.
  • Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana.
  • Banaras Hindu University.
  • Bidhan Chandra Krishi Vidyalaya (BVKV) ( Kalyani University), West Bengal.

Among the above, the admission process for BHU is entrance exam based and Admission process for BCKV is merit based.

The fee structure differs from college to college. But I can assure you one thing, it won't be very high. The total course fee would come around 4-5 lakh.

Try to target for the government colleges, because that would help you in getting a government job easily.

Hopefully this helps and All the best.
