How to get admission in Christian Medical College in Vellore . what should be the minimum marks required to get admission over there?

Ankur, CMC Vellore is a Christian Minority Medical College which has 100 seat intake and all the seats are filled through NEET. Now 84 seats are filled up by sponsored Candidates. These Candidates are sponsored by the Chruches associated with CMC based on the merit of marks scored in the  NEET exam. Now out of the rest 16 seats, 1 seat is sponsored by the Central Government and the rest are open seats. Out of the 84, 10 seats are for the children of CMC staff again based on the merit scored in NEET exam. Now you haven't mentioned the Category you belong to. Cut offs change every year and are dependant on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. On an average the cut offs increased by 60-75 marks. And for a seat under Open Category for CMC, you will need nothing less than 650. But if you belong to Sponsored Category, then you might even get a seat at 600. But anything less than 600-650 is tough for CMC, given its reputation and level of competition.
