To get admission to polytechnic college, you should apply via the portals for the state polytechnic admission. Each state admits students based on the registration for state-wise portal. So you can look for admission in polytechnic college in the state from where you hail through online portal.

For getting admission in a government polytechnic, you have to JET (Joint Entrance Test) of your state.

But, for appearing in the JET you must fulfill its eligibility conditions. Eligibility Conditions for JET:

• You must have completed your 12th from a recognized Education Board.
• You must have completed your 12th with English, Mathematics and Science as compulsory subjects.

On the basis of your JET rank, the better college you will get, as reputed Polytechnic Colleges have high cut-off ranks.

Important Dates for JET:

• Availability of Applications forms: April - May
• Exam Month: June >Result of Jet: July
• Admissions on the basis of JET rank: August

Note: There is no exact dates for JeT, because every State conducts its separate JET. You can check the exact dates for JET of your state by visiting the official website of your State's State Board of Technical Education.
