To get into Calcutta University under any of its undergraduate courses the procedure is that you have to fill up the forms of the colleges (affiliated to CU) for the course of your interest and pay the stipulated money for the application forms.

A lot of colleges have online form submission so you will need to fill out the details within the due dates. You will need to print out the “challan” at the end of the process and deposit the application fees in the respective banks within the due dates.

Selection is done on the basis of marks ie. if you have better marks in the subject you are opting for compared to others then you get selected otherwise not. Moreover, for most of the courses, it is mandatory that you have already read it in your 10+2.
