Hello,

Admission to MBBS course in government or private colleges is done through NEET entrance exam.

Admission is on the basis of 15% All India Quota under which candidates can apply for admission to any state if they have the required marks needed for admission.

Candidate can also take admission under 85% State quota to government Medical Colleges, if they are eligible for admission to state quota seats and they met the required cutoff.

If you want to take admission in any Government medical college in Karnataka but you are not eligible under state quota then you can apply for admission under 15% AIQ.

Hope this helps.

good Luck!
