Admissions in Presidency college for Bachelor of Technology is done through several examinations that are held on a national level. These are:

• Joint Entrance Exam- JEE Mains/JEE advance
• KCET
• COMEDK
• PUEET

Admission criteria is a candidate need to appear in the examination and further continued with an interview for the final selection. In the admission procedure, a candidate after submitting the application forms will need to have a telephonic interview round by the presidency college. If a candidate is selected then the scores and past academic scores with the telephonic round interview, the candidate will be called again for the interview round.
