Dear Aheli, There are 3 Categories in Private Medical Colleges. Category A is the Government Quota Seats. And only candidates of the home State are eligible to apply for these seats. B Category seats are also called Management Quota Seats and they are filled through Direct Admissions by contacting the College directly. Here the fees is usually nothing less than 40 lakhs. The last Category is NRI seats Category and you cannot apply for that. So in your case, you can neither fill Karnataka State Counselling form nor take admision in their Private Medical Colleges under Government Quota. You can take admission under Management Quota and for that you need to contact the Colleges directly.

Well there are two types of private colleges in Karnataka. The ones that come under their own university and the ones that come under Rajeev Gandhi University of health sciences. If you want to get in to Deemed colleges then MCC.NIC.IN is the website for you. A very few amount of seats are given under the government quota via the state counselling Kea (not able to give you the link. Do google it)

If you would want to join Private colleges coming under the RGUHS, the you should get the admission directly via KEA.
