SIMSREE accepts MAH CET, XAT, CAT, MAT, and ATMA. The scores on the exam that you appear for will be evaluated by SIMSREE. Those students who will not match the minimum requirement of scores by the SIMSREE will not be getting Admission. Candidates after the exam have to appear for the centralized counseling. In which seats are allotted to candidates according to the marks scored in the entrance exam. The students will be getting the Application form in the online mode and the Candidates must make sure that they have filled the right details in the Application form. SIMSREE takes admission on the basis of the basis of CAP procedure. The application form is duly verified and has to be submitted along with the required documents. Candidates also have to pay the Application fee for the MMS course as mentioned by the SIMSREE in the official brochure. The Centralized Allotment Process is followed after the students have appeared for any of the acceptable entrance exams. The CAP procedure begins with the display of the Information brochure for the same. The candidates have to fill an online application form which can be found on the official website. While the students proceed to file the Application form, the system generates a unique Application ID which the students can use to log in and fill out the application form. During the application form filling process, the students have to pay the application fee. The fee is different for different categories. The students must note that the amount submitted for the CAP procedure is non-refundable. The students must carefully read the information in the information brochure. The list for the facilitation centers is uploaded on the official website. Students have to fill the application form and scan and upload the documents. The students can edit the Application form before confirming the same at the facilitation centers. One of the application forms is filled, the students must go through it once so as to rectify the mistakes. Next, the students have to confirm the confirm the Application form at the facilitation. Along with the required documents and filled application form, the students have to report to the Facilitation Centres. After the verification of the Application form, the in charge will collect the signed application. Through an online system, the application will get confirmed and the Acknowledgement shall be issued to the students. This Acknowledgement shall be treated as the Receipt. Once the applications are confirmed by the in charge, no more information shall be edited. Next, the provisional merit list shall be uploaded on the official website. If the candidates have any discrepancies in the Provisional Merit list, they can submit the same in writing at the Facilitation Centres. After the discrepancies are rectified, the final merit list is displayed on the official website. The students should note that the provisional merit list does not confirm the Admission to the Courses. A total of 4 rounds will be conducted for the CAP procedure. During the CAP procedure, but before accepting the allotted seats the students have to select the choice of Freeze, Slide or Float.
Freeze – This means that the candidate has accepted the seat and no more CAP rounds of such candidates will be conducted.
Slide – Slide means that the students have accepted the seat but if a seat in an academic programme of higher preference is available, he can take the same. Candidates can attend the further rounds of counseling in such a case.
Float – This means that the candidate has accepted the seat but if he gets a seat in the Academic programme of higher preference in the same institution, he can have that. Else, he gets the same seat as he was having before. Such a candidate is eligible for further rounds of the CAP procedure.
