Admissions are made through an Entrance Examination Postgraduate Entrance Test (PET) generally conducted between May/June every year. Notification for the Entrance Examination will be generally released during February every year.

There are some great books available which have wide coverage of all topics in the curriculum. Grewal and OP Sinha are very good and have well concise books for BHU.

The maximum intake for M.Sc Physics is 77. The cutoff for MSc physics in BHU is 166 for the year 2017. So, make sure you prepare well.
