Must Check: GK Questions for Design Entrance Exams
Hello student,
You cannot term any particular book as the best or perfect book to study from for any entrance exams. However, the most better books are of Arihant as well as a Target Publications. Both have good level of questions ranging from easy to difficult levels. I suggest, if possible, you can study from both the books and then you will be very confident and well prepared for MHTCET.
You will have to give your maximum time of the day for studying and focus more on formula based Questions and Theory as well.
I hope this helps, All the Best!
Hello aspirant,
here are a few tips :
Start solving maths questions topic wise from whatever material you have. Make sure you review your answers and correct the mistakes. Make a plan to cover all the topics on or before December ends. After that go for timed practice and solve previous year questions/mixed practice sets. I suggested to focus on maths because I found it to be the most scoring subject and your maths score is also a criteria for ranking if you opt for engineering.
For Physics and Chemistry- I’d suggest you to start looking for tricks on solving various kinds of problems and topic-wise practice for now. I had joined a tuition for Chemistry because it was my weak point. But you can also look for videos/forums online. These two are the subjects where, if you could cover all types of questions on topics, you will be able to solve most of the questions on actual CET successfully as they just twist the given data. Chemistry : scoring topics were organic chemistry and chemical kinetics-related problems (so basically mathematical calculation part).
As I mentioned in first point, go for timed practice and then mixed practice after November/December etc. Remember that you will have to prepare for practicals + boards in January. When the boards start you can still practice maths everyday because it is essentially similar to CET (problem sovling). As far as Phy & Chem are concerned, you will be reviewing your basic concepts while studying for boards, which is again a plus.
We had a duration of approximately a month and a half after our boards ended. DEDICATE YOURSELF TO CET IN THIS TIME. Solve question papers alternatively (don’t forget to check them). Use OMR sheets. Try to simulate the test enviornment - Start with Phy&Chem paper , take a break - have light lunch and then solve maths paper. (Maybe try turning off the AC as your testing centre will not have that and it is gonna be in the month of May). So, basically get your body used to that schedule- you don’t want any
Goodluck!
