No, you can't get a seat in Nida college for free. You have to appear in an entrance exam conducted by the university. You will be selected if you score the required marks in the entrance exam.

You must have scored 45% in PCBE subjects in the 12th standard to appear in the exam. Also, the minimum age required is 17 years.

Candidates who qualify for entrance exams at the national and state levels are on the Bachelor of Science Benefits List. Most students apply for a BSc Nursing by NEET entrance examination or  MNC entrance examination.

Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Nursing is a four-year full-time program that is the undergraduate level in the nursing course offered by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore and approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC).

You can go through the eligibility criteria given below to seek admission into the college:

Candidates enrolled in the first Basic B.Sc. Nursing course Candidates must pass PUC courses in English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology individually and  have accumulated at least 45% of  Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English (PCBE) points on proficiency tests.

If you are a candidate for a vocational school course run by the Kerala Secondary Vocational Examination Committee, you will be required to take at least five courses, including physics, chemistry, biology, and English, in addition to the specialized courses.

RGUHS notification number RGUHS / SEF / EG. B.Sc.Nsg/191/200506 (since May 18, 2006) and all subjects must have passed at least 45 designated exams individually.

Achieved% of physics, chemistry, biology and English points in aptitude tests. Age: Must be 17 years old before December 31st  of the year of enrollment.

Candidates must be medically healthy.
