If one wants to join ISRO, then he/she have to appear in a competitive written examination conducted by ISRO itself every year in order to make recruitment scientists or engineer.

• Required eligibility for ISRO:

1. Must be citizen of India.

2. Must possess B.Tech. or B.E. degree in engineering disciplines such as electronics, mechanical, computer science or electrical.

3. Must have taken minimum 60% marks throughout the academic career.

4. Candidate in the final year of B.Tech or B.E. are also allowed.

5. Candidate must below the age of 35 years.

6. Candidate of reserved categories can availed the benefit of relaxation in upper age as per Govt. rules.

• In order to join NASA, one must meet the following eligibility conditions:

1.Citizen of United States.

2. Good eye sight.

3. Normal blood pressure.

4.Height must be above 157 cm.

5. Candidate must have engineering degree in Aeronautics, Aviation or Physical Science.



Willing candidate has to directly apply to the recruitment notification advertised by the NASA for the posts of astronauts and scientists etc.

For that it is better if you are from Aerospace Engineering branch or Aeronautical Engineering branch or from Electronics and Communication branch.

Also you must clear their separate entrance exam and interviews conducted by them. You must maintain your grades at least around above 8 pointer to get in safer side.
