Hi there.

You must submit an application for the UPSC's CSE test in order to become an IAS Officer. To be chosen for the programme, you must also pass the exams (preliminary, main, and interview). The candidate must hold a Graduate Degree from an accredited university or institute in order to be eligible to take this exam.

Therefore, theoretically, pupils who have completed grade 12 cannot take this exam immediately after. They need to finish graduation first after completing the 12th grade.

On August 1 of the examination year, the candidate must be between the ages of 21 and 32 (for the general category candidate). For applicants who are SC, ST, OBC, or physically disabled, there are age restrictions.

For talented individuals in India, the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) is a very respectable professional option. The permanent bureaucracy of the Indian government's executive branch is made up of IAS officials.

The Indian Administrative Service and affiliated services carry out the executive decisions made by the elected bodies of the government. The government grants IAS officials many discretionary rights and privileges because of the wide variety of tasks they manage.

In addition to this, they hold a high social status as a result of the work they do for the community. IAS officials have the ability to use their positions of authority and influence to improve the lives of many people.
