Indian Institute of Information Technology- Hyderabad (IIIT-Hyderabad) takes its admissions through many channels. Admissions to B.Tech programmes through channels like JEE Main , Undergraduate Engineering Entrance Examination - UGEE– CSD/ ECD/ CND/ CLD/ NK/ NTSE or KVPY, Olympiad, Direct Admissions for Students Abroad (DASA) and Special Channel of Admission (SPEC). The application form for IIIT Hyderabad 2019 B.Tech admission for all the channels will be available separately.
The main pathways to IIIT Hyderabad are explained below:
- The most common way of getting an entry in this college is through JEE. It takes B.Tech Admission based on JEE Main 2019 marks for single degree programmes only. These programmes includes, B. Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), and B. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE).
- Through DASA candidates living in abroad will get direct admission based on DASA 2019.
- UGEE Mode: Through UGEE Mode, admission to all research-based dual-degree programmes is done. Admission through this mode will be based on an entrance examination followed by an interview.
- Through SCA candidates get admission to single degree B. Tech. (ECE/CSE) programs for 20 seats only. Candidates will have to appear and qualify an entrance examination and interview.

For IIIT-Hyderabad for UG only you can apply through Jee Mains exam.You give jee mains , with that score you apply online paying Rs.1500 .
on the other hand you can apply by around december , there is a written test based on maths and english.Then there is an interview .
