It's not always about the amount of time you spend on preparing for JEE .IIT Bombay is one of the top IITs of India . And for getting admission in this IIT , you need to get a rank within 300 (All India Rank ) .
For this , the period of time spend is not essentially , it's about your Concepts .
The things you need to focus on are:
- Clearing all doubts.
- Have a Crystal Clear Concept of what you are reading.
- Time Management .
- Taking a lot of Mock Tests before appearing for the final exam.
- Analysis the previous year Questions Papers to get an Idea about the pattern of Questions .

For getting admission in IITs through JEE advance first you will have to crack JEE mains which also very tough.
You will have to devote 10-12 hours on daily basis consistently with determination and honesty.
Complete NCERTs by heart and then move on to standard books.
Solve past year question papers.
Say NO to holidays and movies until exam the you clear it.
Take better sleep and food.
