The first way of joining ISRO
The ISRO ICRB examination is a two stage examination. It comprises of a national-level written exam (offline mode) and a personal interview. The minimum qualification required is BE/BTech with at least 65% marks or 6.84 CGPA. The maximum age limit is 30 years.
The second way of joining ISRO
The second way is through IIST. After Class 12, students can also get admission into the IIST by clearing the JEE Mains and Advanced with a good rank. Apart from this they have to satisfy certain eligibility criteria. To be eligible for ISRO Counselling, IIST graduates must have scored above 7.5 CGPA or equivalent percentage.
Some other ways of joining ISRO
In addition to this there are some other ways where ISRO itself conducts written test and skills test to recruit candidates if there are vacancies available. In such cases, the required qualification, age limit, etc. may depend on the type of position.
