Dear Hari,
If you want to get admission in GITAM University, you need to submit the application and separate application for M.Phil./pH.D. programmes. The candidate must have secured 55% marks in UGC 7 in point scale or according to the institution and for SC/ST category 50%. Mode of application is online as well as offline. The last date for submitting the application is 31st March,2019 and results will be declared on 30th April,2019. You can apply for full time and part time pH.D. programme based on your marks in entrance exam, personal interview which is conducted by the University.

notification came for ph.d ,what is the name of the exam,i have seen notification for engineering only?

Dear Hari,The name of the entrance exam conducted by the university is GAT which stands for Graduate Assessment Test. This exam tests your general knowledge, commmunication skills, science, humanities,social science,etc. The test will be computer based that is online and the time given is about 2 hours. You will be given 4 options for a question and you need to choose the correct answer. For the correct answer 4 marks will be awarded and for wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted.Regards
