how to get seat for bipc in iiser
Hello Aspirant,
To get a seat in IISER, one must pass 10+2 or equivalent level exam with science stream. The students of 2019 or 2020 are very much eligible to apply for admissions. The students will be admitted to IISER only by following these three channels.
1.Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) channel
2. State and Central Boards Channel (SCB)
3. Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-Advanced) of the Indian Institutes of Technology
In short they are referred to as KVPY, JEE, and SCB, respectively. The Indian nationals and students, those belonging to category like PIO or OCI are very much eligible to apply.

There are 3 channels through which you can get into IISER.
- KVPY channel
- JEE Advanced
- SCB
THe students applying through SCB channel must give IISER entrance exam. 50% of total seats in IISER are filled through KVPY and JEE advanced channels. You need to score cutoff marks in any of the above mentioned exam to apply for IISER.
