How to I take admission in jmi msc mathematics

Jamia Millia Islamia offers the following postgraduate programmes in Mathematics-
1. M.A/M.Sc Mathematics (Self Financed, Evening)
2. M.Sc.(Mathematics Education) under Meta University program
3.  M.Sc.(Mathematics with Computer Science)

Admission to the course is done on the basis of entrance exam conducted by the University.
M.A/M.Sc Mathematics is a Self-Financed Evening program and Student who posses Bachelor’s Degree in Science will be awarded a Masters’s Degree in Science and Student who possess Bachelor’s Degree in Arts will be awarded a Master’s Degree in Arts by the University.

Eligibility Criteria for admission to M.Sc Mathematics is as follows-
- Candidate should have completed B.Sc (Hons.) In Mathematics with atleast 50 percent both in aggregate and in mathematics Or
- B.Sc Mathematics with atleast 50 percent marks both in aggregate and in Mathematics Or
- B.El.Ed/Physical Education with minimum 50 percent marks in aggregate and in Mathematics.

Eligibility Criteria for admission to M.Sc (Mathematics with Computer Science) is as follows-
- Candidate should have B.A/B.Sc (Hons) in Mathematics with 50 percent marks both in aggregate and in Mathematics Or
- Candidate should have atleast B.A/B.Sc Mathematics with 50 percent marks both in aggregate and in Mathematics.

Admission to the course will be done on the basis of entrance exam and the exam is expected to be conducted in the last week of May.
Online application forms for JMI admission 2019 are expected to be released in the second week of February 2019.

JMI also offers M.Sc (Mathematics Education) programme under Meta University concept. The programme is offered in collaboration with university of Delhi.
