Successful pursuance of the course prepares candidates for careers in fields such as teaching, media, advertising, writing, and publishing, for further graduate or professional studies in English, communications, or law; and for other fields requiring competent communication skills.
Now coming onto Examination prospective.
Your Answer Should be like:
1 A short Introduction of the text/play/poem.
2 Explain
- Text and Author perspective
- Critics perspective.
- Relating to other texts.
- Relate it also with the current situation (If Possible)
- Your Perspective.
3 Conclusion
Note: Don’t use the words Introduction or conclusion in your answer. make it and do it through different paragraphs. for eg- After introduction start a new paragraph for content of the answer then conclusion in different paragraph.
At last Keep writing your answers with confidence. Confidence is must with all the above things to get good marks.

All the best !!!
Dear Aspirant,
While studying for English Honours from examination point of view, don’t panic while studying novels. The main things you have to concentrate are: Plot, Theme, Main Characters and a little bit of story. You must have a good analytical mind. Expand your area of thinking and relate the things you have read with other writings or other things.
Add Critics.
many students don’t remember all critics name at the time of exam, but don’t panic at that time. Remember one thing “You are also a critic, and a best critic” . so when you know that then go for it by adding your perspective in the answer.
Examiners don’t like Copy Paste answers, as a literature student you have to be creative. and you need to show your creativity with the help of your answers.
Underline the important things which you want to highlight. Highlighting gives examiners more impact.
Hope it helps you!!
