Hi.
Here are some tips that you could try to help you in maintaining consistent studies:
- Maintain a schedule
If you are studying for national level competitions like JEE or NEET then you are aware that you wouldn’t even be able to cover syllabus if you do not devote 6-7hrs of self-study. Make sure you make a subject wise time table and stick to it. Add proper breaks to relieve your mind which shouldn’t be longer than 10 minutes.
Allot dates, chapter wise, for each subject. Allot time for
Text readings.
Solving problems.
Revision.
FINAL REVISION.
Leave an evening off every 3 days.
- Don't attempt to cram all your studying into one session.
- Study at the same time.
Not only is it important that you plan when you're going to study, it's important you create a consistent, daily study routine. This will also train your mind to be active for those hours. For example, if you know that you have an exam in morning session i.e. 9am – 12pm then try to make it your prime-time study.
- Never procrastinate your planned study session
- Before you start each study session, and before you start a particular assignment, review your notes thoroughly to make sure you know how to complete the assignment correctly
- After every successful study session make sure to treat yourself with a favourite food, a (short) show, go out and play, read a comic or a book etc. whatever makes you feel happy because that results in release of Dopamine which will enable you get back to study the next day.
- Remember, these are just tips to aid your hard work. Your own pace, method of study, environment will determine your effectiveness and you must make efforts to make sure your study time is uninterrupted by anyone. Have Faith in yourself, you will be able to do it.
BEST OF LUCK!!
Dear Student,
This is a general problem with many of students that they can't study for long hours. But what matters at last is the efficiency. Some students study for many hours continuously, but they got less marks in exams. While some students study less and they get good marks. So below, I am mentioning some very effective points. If you follow these points seriously, then surely you will start studying efficiently. And surely you will get good marks in ypur exams.
- Divide your whole study time in time intervals.
- Don't study continuously for many hours. Make slots of some hours.
- Like for a 9 hour study time table, make 3 slots of 3 hours each.
- Give yourself a task for 3 hours, and try to complete it within the time.
- Make short goals, don't make long goals.
- After each slot give yourself a break.
- In that break, refresh your mind with some other activities like listening to song.
- If you follow this schedule for some days then this will became your habit.
- Do some meditation. This will help you in increasing your concentration.
- Wake up early, and go for a walk.
- Also make a good sleeping cycle. Sleep nearly for 7 hours a day. This will give a proper rest to your brain.
- Make your study interesting.
Hope this helps.
