hi sonika, making a time table is all up to you, cos it depends on your comfortable timing , ability and your daily routine, but make a schedule in such a way that you dont read biology alone, do alter with other subjects as well, or you will be tired or saturated, let me tell you how i prepared. first of all i would like to say that, when i gave my neet around 310 marks out of 360 came from NCERT book straight, so what i would say is thorough the ncert text book first , cover to cover , page by page. know it like the back of your hand.now you can add another 20 marks or 30 marks extra to it if you use any good books available. there are many good books there, so it doesnt really matter. if you have enrolled in any coaching institute, use their materials as well. the remaining 30 is the tough part. it all depends on how well you understood your subject and how extensive you have read. so dont bother about the 30. stick to ncert , then solve mcqs and use your coaching material, this if done properly will shoot up your marks for sure. good luck
See making study time table is totally up to you as it's you who is going to know about your daily schedule so you yourself Have to do so rest with respect to the preparation of biology for NEET examination I would recommend strongly to to study from the ncert biology textbooks as these books are the standard once.
Like i used to study biology for 2 hrs a day out of total 9 hrs.
Truemen's biology is a good book. You can use it in addition ro ncert
But ncert is must
Other books you can use are :
For biology : dinesh , coaching books , mtg
Chemistry : abc , coaching books , op tandon
Physics: coaching books , hc verma , pradeep
Also, focus on the diagrams that are given in every chapter, a seemingly simple diagram can be a question in the final examination.
As far as the timetable is concerned, it is not about the number of hours that you invest in biology, it's about how well you've utilized the amount of time you've spent on reading biology.
Fix a set number of topics that you'd want to read on a particular day and also the amount of time you think you'd need to cover those topics.
Most importantly, stick to your schedule and complete those topics that very day.
Also, mere reading of the topics might not give you fruitful results. Make sure you allocate some time to assess how well you've studied a particular topic by following a reference book for MCQs. Also, solve the previous years papers so that you can modulate your preparations accordingly if needed.
Study material provided by Allen or Aakash is very helpful in this regard as well
With regard to Biology you should be paying special attention to botany zoology , biotechnology and microbiology because these are the most heavily questioned chapters in your Neet examination
I would advise you to make notes on botany and zoology and go through them on a regular basis so that you do not lose touch with the different kingdom classification and characteristics as well as the typical details of botanical biology
With regard to microbiology you could practice the life cycles of the important organisms given under your syllabus
Modern biotechnology in the form of Molecular Biology can also be studied with the help of flow diagrams or tables
What is most important is solving MCQ and the best form of doing which is mock examinations which help you with your time management and question selection skills
In order to ensure that you can score maximum in physics so that you have any job of others, you should be smoothly completing your biology and Chemistry questions within the first one and a half hours of the examination
So prepare yourself well in biology and dedicate around 3 to 6 hours everyday on Biology depending on the total amount of time you are dedicating to self study everyday
Hope this helps, thank you
