Dear aspirant,

HCl can be generated by the reaction of sulfuric acid with sodium chloride:

NaCl + H2SO4 → NaHSO4 + HCl

procedure:

We can produce Hydrogen Chloride in the laboratory by treating sodium chloride with concentrated sulphuric acid. then, heat this mixture up to 420K.

This reaction occurs at room temperature.
