Hiii,

Making short notes is very important & essential for proper & systematic study .It save your time & energy during exam time.

Various types of notes can be used to summarised your study contents.Shortnotes are the summary of large study content in smaller one in readable & understandable format which can be access in short span of time.

1.Make notes in diagrams ,family tree format in theory part .It can be useful for subject like science ,social science,geometrical theorem etc.

2.make use of small paragraphs summary ,reports, etc as preferable in language subjects.

3.can make use of question -answer type MQB to learn things in deep in smaller interval. It can be well use for boring subjects like history etc.

Many others way are there to make notes in small span of time like memory maps,tabular forms, graphs , maps in social science especially in geography etc.

Short note is made for the quick reversion

So u must write those things and headings which help you to remember about the whole topic and concepts.

For this u should write key words

Like headings

Subheadings

Important thing

Facts

Formula

Diagram

Compound name

Reaction

Chemical name

It's properties in one or two words





U must use dark and different colours pens

Make notes chapter wise

You can prepare short notes of subject by following steps:

  • Gather all the notes making material like pen, pencil, notebook etc.
  • Go to class prepared. Before going to class make sure you study previous class topics.
  • Be an active listener
  • Take notes by hand
  • Dont be afraid to ask questions.
  • Focus on key words and concepts. No need to write full sentences. Only write the relevant information
  • Use abbreviations. You can write example as e.g. or 'wd' for would, 'cd' for could etc.
  • Make sure your writing is legible
  • Use symbols and diagrams more.
  • Use highlighter to highlight important information
  • Take notes from textbook.
  • Review your notes every night for 10-15 mins.
