Hello Manish,

I would suggest you to prepare the time table as per your convenience as you know better about your daily routine work. To check the time table subject wise, topic wise and month wise, You can go through with the given below link.

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/time-table-for-jee-main-2019-preparation

To prepare the exam along with boards, You need to devide the time properly for your boards & JEE Main Exam. With the correct preparation strategy, you can achieve the results that you want in both the examinations and to build your concept, I would suggest you to go through with NCERT books.

Some of the Preparation tips, You can follow-

Know your Syllabus Well : It is essential that you know what topics you have to cover for the examination. Board exams cover only 12th standard syllabus whereas JEE Main covers both 11th and 12th standard syllabus. Therefore, you should know what topics and subjects are likely to appear for the examinations.

Create a Time Table : Divide your syllabus and allot specific timings per day for a subject. The timings should be devided in such a way that at least some topics of each subject are covered per day. Since JEE Main also consists of the 11th standard syllabus, make some time in the evening or morning for the topics related to the 11th standard. Timetables will help you stay on track to complete the syllabus.

Develop your Daily Targets : Make your daily targets in such a way that the entire syllabus will be completed well before time so that enough days are left for revision. The main focus should be on completing 12th standard syllabus for the board examinations.  it is advised that some part of the syllabus is completed in the daily targets along with the 12th standard syllabus.

Practise MCQ questions : Multiple Choice Questions will be there in the JEE Main examination. Solving MCQ’s per day will allow you to revise constantly will also provide a base for the extensive descriptive answers of class 12th board examinations. Keep solving a few MCQ questions every day for better preparation.

Practise with the Sample papers & join Mock test also to analyze your performance.

Also I would like to inform you that Careers360 is conducting All India Talent search Exam where students of 11th and 12th PCM/PCB ( Engineering or Medical) can test their knowledge and enhance their preparation by knowing their stronger and weaker areas and win prizes and scholarships worth ₹1.25 Crore.

Hello Manish,

Sorry for the error. Here are some important tips you can follow.

1. Prepare in advance: If you are planning to take IIT exam it is necessary for you plan ahead  and allocate minimum 3-4 hours of study in a day. Experiment to find out which time of the day do you study best and stick to those 3-4 hours of the day

2. Coaching institutes: Joining coaching institutes crash courses would be one more better option. The  coaching classes will  be focused, organised and structured . You can think about taking online crash course as well.

you can try JEE Main Knockout Crash Course from career360, you will get

  • Important formulae
  • Practice tests
  • Analysis of your performance in the tests from this course

3. Follow the syllabus: The syllabus for the exam are announced in advance, including the weightage of every chapter in +2 hence go through the same. Thus, it is mandatory to go through with each and every topic in order to excel in the exam.

4. Solve previous question papers: Solving old and mock question papers will sure lead you on the road to  success. Referring and solving old question papers also give an insight into pattern of questions that can be expected in the exam. While questions don't repeat it is a good mock test and treat it like one.

5. Refer IIT preparation  books:  Various books on IIT preparation are available in the market, choose one and stick to the same. Obviously material is also available online.Referring to them while you are preparing will have an added advantage.

Hope this helps! all the best.
