Don't worry, it's very easy and nothing is different in semester system.  Just study continuesly and consistently. In semester system internals are there before the end semester exams . Which consist some weightage to final result. That percentage you will get to know from your college as every College have their own percentage of internal exam . So don't worry just study whatever is taught you in the classroom and go through your syllabus . I hope this was helpful to you

As you have done diploma you might be aware of the semester system. There is nothing different in it but in engineering the syllabus is big and the level of questions are tougher than diploma so you may be facing problems. As you are in cs I'll advise you to have hands on coding this is the backbone as eventually maximum placements are in software companies. For semester just study daily because last day preparation is dangerous.
