Hello Srinath,
Biology happens to be the most crucial subject for medical aspirants. With a vast and extensive syllabus, one needs to manage time, practice and revise if he/she wants to score high marks.
Here are a few tips you can inculcate in order to prepare for your examination:
1. The board releases the pattern of the examination every year to help the students get acquainted with the pattern and prepare accordingly. Knowing the pattern helps to save some crucial time in the exam.
2. Prepare the entire syllabus thoroughly from the prescribed books by the board and gain confidence to tackle questions.
3. Biology, being a theoretical and conceptual subject requires students to be well-versed with important terminologies. Apart from the terms and their definitions, the paper also includes several diagram-related questions that requires practice.
4. Solve previous years questions papers and sample papers to get the hang of the examination and understand the type and pattern of the questions.
5. The last few days before the board exam should be spent on revision. Regular revision helps to retain the important points and effectively remember the concepts during the exam.
Hope this helps you. We wish you the best for your future endeavours!
Hello student. First, make a list of all the topics and chapters. Make a list of all diagrams.
Plan schedule every day , allocate time for each and every topic based on weightage. For weightage, refer to previous year question papers. Practice diagram every single day.
Mark your strength and weakness in the topics. If you consider yourself as weak in a topic, then plan to study it again. Strong topics, once done should be remembered
A 2 weeks before exams, refer question papers. Solve them. Mark the mistakes and don't repeat them.
Have confidence, no matter how the question paper is you will do your best
All the best
Regards
Nikhitha
