GATE(Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) is an examination that tests the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in engineering and science.It is administered by IIT.As you are from non-cse background,you'll have to work a little more harder than the others but with right resources and hard work you can definitely crack it.There are numerous sources available on the internet but some the best ones are Ravindrababu Ravula's videos,various author books and practice practice and practice the previous year question papers.You can even join a good coaching center for extra help.
From which stream are you, it doesn't. In future in which you want to work, live with that dream.
So, as you are seeking for GATE Cse, as you are non-cse candidate, then you have to know the syllabus for CSE paper in GATE. I assume you have all the basic knowledge of Computer Science like C programming, algorithm, data structures etc. Or if you don't know these, doesn't worry. Go through the syllabus & take the schedule for study. Which thing do don't know, focus on the topics most. So, start your presentation as easy as possible. If you know the basis of programming, then I think you will not face hardles for presentation CSE for GATE.
