Studying for AIIMS is not much different from studying for NEET as syllabus is same in both. But, the competition in AIIMS is a lot more than that in NEET because of lesser seats in AIIMS. However, if you study properly, nothing will stop you from getting a seat in AIIMS.

Try to read NCERTs first thoroughly. Grasp as much as you can. Refer some other books also like HC Verma for Physics and OP Tandon for Chemistry. Remember, these books should be used only for reference as they are of very high level, more suitable for IIT preparation. You can also refer some other books.

Again try to solve many questions. Since, it is an online exam, so you won't get previous year question papers but you can solve Mock tests etc.

• There are 20 questions based on general knowledge in AIIMS exam. For solving these, you can read newspapers and watch news every day for an hour to have the best idea of the latest events happening in order to get along with the General Knowledge part in the AIIMS 2018 exam. Other most recommended GK books for AIIMS 2018 include General Knowledge Today and CSR magazines.
• Begin with procuring the precise syllabus, study material and exam details. This forms the basis of your studies over the next two years.
• Being a class XI student, you have the opportunity to streamline your preparations quite efficiently. Focus on the concepts right from the start and prepare notes simultaneously that will come handy during revisions.
