Hardly months are left for the day entrance exam and all you need to do is revise and practice maximum questions. Biology is the most scoring subject and one can easily score in this subject if thorough with the NCERT. NCERT is most important for Biology.
Make a list of important chapters having high weight age and from which maximum number of questions are asked every year. Plan your schedule accordingly so that you cover the important chapters first.
Read each and every line of NCERT and make keyword type notes. Note down the important points and those should include the following:
-
Examples
-
Classifications
-
Reactions
-
Mechanisms
-
Biological cycles
-
Diagrams and their labellings
-
Statistics (most important- given in Ecology chapter)
-
Names of the scientists/inventors
-
Full forms-short forms
-
Tabular details
-
Highlighted data
- Summary (given at the end of each chapter)
Do solve the textual exercise/MCQs. Try to solve/practice questions on the same day of studying a particular topic/chapter. This will help you test your memory + give you question idea. Also go through precious years question papers.
Keep your concepts clear and don't be overconfident- the easiest line can be twisted and asked in the exam and if you don't apply logic there.. then you won't be able to answer it correctly.! Hope you're getting my point.! So prepare in a smart way.
Keep high target and focus on achieving it. Give your Bestttt possible.!
Hope this helps.!
Good Luck.!!
hii jamir, let me tell you how my friend prepared. first of all i would like to say that, when i gave my neet around 310 marks out of 360 came from NCERT book straight, so what i would say is thorough the ncert text book first , cover to cover , page by page. know it like the back of your hand.now you can add another 20 marks or 30 marks extra to it if you use any good books available. there are many good books there, so it doesnt really matter. if you have enrolled in any coaching institute, use their materials as well. the remaining 30 is the tough part. it all depends on how well you understood your subject and how extensive you have read. so dont bother about the 30. stick to ncert , then solve mcqs and use your coaching material, this if done properly will shoot up your marks for sure. good luck buddy
