It all begins with an episode of introspection. You need to first chart out your plan of action, since you're aiming for a score like you've previously mentioned.

Identify your strong areas, identify your weaknesses areas as well. Make a REALISTIC STRATEGY for executing your plan of action. Work on it.

You're in class 12 already, with the amount of time you have, you can consider brushing up what you know well by solving as many MCQs as you can, management of Time is very important in entrance examinations.

I'm mentioning below a detailed list of books to choose from, follow any one of them and follow it religiously.

I donot think Halliday resnick and ie orodov are best books for aiims
They were used long before when iit exams were theoretical
Rather it just mere wastahe of precious time
Just have your concepta clear and follpw any book from page 1 to last page thats only mantra
If you wish solve arihant ittjee physics rather ie irodov or halliday resnick

Hey Ayush
As you may know AIIMS entrance questions are one of the toughest among entrance exams. For scoring high marks in this exam you need not only be high in your theory knowledge, but also in your logical skills and general knowledge.
First make your concepts clear in all the theory subjects. Then try to solve as many model question papers as possible. Then u will come to know how to answer the questions effectively.
Most of all...work smart and dont stress urself too much..
All d very bst!!

Hello Ayush

When you are aiming for AIIMS, you need to be persistent, dedicated and motivated. You need to study atleast 12-14 hours a day. Donot mug up the answer without understanding. Understanding the subject will help you reach the top.

For biology I would suggest you the following books:

1) Trueman Biology

2)Pradeep publication

3) Objective Biology by Dinesh

For Physics I would suggest the following books

1) NCERT Physics

2) Objective Physics for medical entrance exams

3) H C Verma

For chemistry

1) Objective NCERT

2) Dinesh chemistry

3) O P Tendon

4) Modern ABC for chemistry for class 11th and 12th

You also need to focus on your general knowledge, which can be improved by subscribing to any magazines or newspapers.

Also referring to the previous year question papers is very helpful.

AIIMS 17 years solved question papers by Disha Publications.

MTG AIIMS explorer.

Distraction are the most common during high school, concentrate and stay motivated. Develop a friend circle who will help you keep motivated and a study group where you can discuss what you've learnt. Take advices from you seniors too, who have cracked the exam.

AIIMS, isn't easy and you have to be ready to work day and night, without looking at your clock. Also, sleep is necessary, donot over do anything. But utilize the little time you have well.

Goodluck with your dreams, hope you achieve them.

Aiims new delhi the college each medical aspirants dream off in its life while preparing for euther ug or pg entrance

And as u have asked i think You are well versed with the fact that only handful of children enter the college by cracking it

U just need to calm and follow ncert books from its very first page to last page going word by word not just craming it by understanding the essence

Once you had your concepts clear then follow any refernce book

Some of my suggestion which my senior gave me

Physics hc verma and arihant medical 2 volmues

Organic Raymond and fryle

Inorganic jd lee

Physical GRB is best

Biology trueman biology

Remeber if your concepts are clear then only u can solve assertion reasoning answeres

As they are ubique for aiims exam

Practics them as much as u can not by craming rather grabbing their essence

If u want to prepare for aiims then for MCQ's u don't need to do anything apart from the way by which u r preparing for NEET but assertion reason constitute a major chunk of aiims exam ( 60 marks ) so practice them ...

And for that u must have ur concepts clear and U will have to read the theory portion of ncert for physics and chemistry too.

And focus on gk and mental ability too ..

Don't waste ur time on doing something extra for mcq's apart from NEET related books because after 2010 aiims mcq's are also of almost same level

Hi Aayush, As you said you are in 12 std , so you have almost 6 months time to prepare for the exam.. TO achieve 140+ you should have your basics clear...

Most important for NEET/AIIMS is your NCERT books as books include basic principles and concepts and provide accurate information.

BUT KEEP IN MIND YOU HAVE TO CLEAR ENTRANCE YOU ARE NOT DOING PhD so dont go by all books mentioned here and there

KEEP NCERT + ONE REFERNCE BOOK + MAXIMUM MCQS PRACTICE = Medical SEAT

Apart from this, you can add upon it by following books

Biology -

Truemans Biology Vol. 1 & 2

Objective Biology by Dinesh

Pradeep Publications Biology

Physics -

Concept of physics by H C Verma

Fundamental of Physic by Pradeep

Objective physics by DC Pandey

Chemistry -

Arihant Organic Chemistry

Dinesh Chemistry Inorganic

Physical Chemistry by O P Tandon

Objective NCERT at your fingertips Chemistry by MTG

General Knowledge -It would be better be uptodate by reading newspaper on daily basis, books like aims4aiims gk...

Hope this helps!....BEST OF LUCK

Regards
