Hello,

For preparation of Banking Exam, go through the following steps-

Be acquainted with syllabus, you need to know what all are included in Quant, Reasoning, English and other sections.Banking exam is all about speed and accuracy. So, practice is the key here.You must start reading any newspaper The Hindu or The Indian Express, also include any other business paper like The Economic Times. In banking or insurance exams,you must be well acquainted with its basic concepts and understanding. Also, it'll help you in descriptive writing part,interview and in the recent years, especially in English Section, RC has been taken directly from The Hindu and considering the vocabulary and the standard of language used here,it's comparatively tough for beginners to comprehend, so a daily habit of going through especially Editorials will increase your knowledge, vocabulary, reading speed etc.


You may refer the following books-

Quant- Quicker Maths by M Tyra/ Fast Track Arithmetic by Arihant Publications /Quantitative Aptitude by RS Agarwal
English- General English by SP Bakshi or Plinth to Paramount
You can also refer Wren and Martin, that's the best book for grammar. Word Power Made Easy for Vocab.
For Reasoning- RS Agarwal Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning
Analytical Reasoning by MK Pandey.
For General Awareness, you can go through any magazine, monthly compilation in lot of sites,reading newspaper on a daily basis helps here a lot.

Make sure to keep your resources minimal, also go through mock tests or test series regularly at later point when you're near to appearing for examination.

Hey aspirant, hope you are doing well!

For preparation of any entrance exam all you need is dedication & smart work. Mock tests is the key for a successful preparation. They help you analyse where you stand in your performance. It helps you strive for better results. It will help you understand about your weak topics. Secondly, concept clarity is really important. Get in depth knowledge of the concept. Don't just cram up things. Try to understand them deeply even for future reference. Learn speed maths tricks in order to excel in the quants section and lessen up your time per section. Focus on your accuracy and timing. Read newspaper daily so that you will be able to attempt general awareness questions. It's a really vast section & mere reading newspapers won't help. You need to be really active with every kind of news area for attempting that section. Focus on English language. Lastly, take care of your health. Don't just keep on studying all day , refresh your mind! Go for a walk. With a refreshed mind you will be able to study better and will be able to concentrate more.
