HI, Rohit

The entrance test is more or less like an aptitude test. Covering topics like English, math, general knowledge, logical reasoning. They ask approx. 120 questions, +1 for right answer and -0.25 for wrong answer. On clearing the entrance test you would be called for personal interview. Clearing both the test + good marks in HSC might fetch your colleges like Christ or symbiosis.

Now how to prepare:

Practice makes a man perfect-practice as many as possible sample papers to get hold of the concept.

Learn tricks and shortcuts- one can never clear an entrance exam without knowing short tricks. you can learn them from the coaching class you go or through various online portals.

Time management-These tests are all about time management. You have to answer about 120-150 questions in about 2 hours. This means you are given 1minute for each answer. Therefore, manage your time well and answer as many as question possible.

Also try and keep your basics strong.
