Hey Khushi

For you to score well in the entrance exam, it is important to take admission to a top institute. A lot of hard work and studying strategically can help you nail down the BBA entrance exam. Here are few tips to help you score well in the BBA entrance tests:

1. Start with basics

The entrance test for BBA is a basic management and aptitude test. Questions in the exam mostly comprise of concepts we have learnt from Class fifth to Class tenth. The knowledge of class eleventh and twelfth is tested in the Maths section and that too the basic knowledge. Therefore, it’s the right time for you to start focusing on the basics. Make your own short notes. Learn all the formulae and theories to answer the questions.

2. Practice makes a man perfect

Practicing as many questions and sample papers as possible. The more your practice the more you get an idea of variety of questions and their answers. While practicing variety of questions you can develop your own approach to treat an answer. Also, with more and more practice, chances of answering wrong gets reduced. Thus, you know the treatment for all types of questions. Also, practice from previous years’ question papers. With this you can know the exam pattern followed by an institute.

3. Learn tricks and shortcuts

One cannot score high in the entrance exam by simple following the traditional way of answering that you learnt in school. This is because the method we have learnt is long and time consuming. If you answer questions through that method then chances of losing time during the entrance test is very high. Therefore, work on tricks and shortcuts that will help you solve a question in matter of seconds. You can learn those tricks from any coaching centre or online at various portals.

4. Time management

These tests are mostly about time management. You have to answer about 120-150 questions in about two hours. That means you are given one minute for each answer. The minute you spent extra time on any question, your time mismanagement begins. Therefore, plan and dedicate your time according. Adequate practice can help you with time management.

5. Accuracy

Do not forget about the negative marking in BBA entrance test. Most of the institutes include negative marking in their exam pattern. You have to think twice before you marking your answer. It is better to skip a question than to answer it incorrect. You have to maintain accuracy in your exam while keeping in mind about the time management.

6. General Knowledge

Start reading newspaper from today only. This is because general knowledge is an important of most of the tests. You must have an idea of what is happening around the world. History, geography, basic science and entertainment also forms a part of this section. Therefore, keep an eye on what is happening around and read magazines regularly.
